Do you find that your dog needs training but you don't have the time each
week to work with him? I can help!
| This program is for owners whose busy schedules
do not permit them to be actively involved in their dogs
training. Most boot camp dogs are here to learn or improve
basic obedience commands: sit, down, stand, stay, walk on a loose
leash, and come when called. They will also learn good manners
such as not jumping on people, taking food/treats gently,
etc. However, I can tailor a training program to suit your needs.
|
|
Send your dog to me, and I will train
him for you.
Training is done throughout the day, instead of in "training sessions." Dogs
aren't born knowing what sit or come here means, so we use "show and tell".
We show them what is expected, add a verbal cue to their actions, and reward
using positive reinforcement. This training method saves time and
frustration because your dog learns the right way the first time. Similar to
learning French in class once a week vs. living with a French family,
immersion speeds learning and retention because situations are real and
repeated frequently.
The program runs year around and space is available by appointment
only. Puppies must be at least 5 months old and must have had
ALL shots prior to attending this program.
Boot Camp is 2 weeks or longer, depending
on what we will be working on with your dog, and

You may take advantage of our exceptional training regardless of where
you live.
We are located 30 minutes East of Downtown St. Paul off Interstate 94
Many of our clients make the easy, all-interstate drive from
Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN
We have many clients that drive up to six or more hours to bring us
their dog for training. We also have folks fly their dogs in for
training. If you choose to fly your dog to us, we will pick up the
dog at the Minneapolis/St. Paul airport and provide your dog with our
high quality, professional training.
Then, you have two options:
1. You may fly / drive in to get your dog and take advantage of our
owner training session where we demonstrate what your dog has learned,
explain the methods and then make certain that your dog will work
for you.
and/or
2. You may receive a DVD that will show your dog's training in
progress as well as explain the training methods in lieu of coming to
get your dog in person. And, we will ship your trained dog back to
you.
Note: For air shipped dogs: 50% of the total training fee must be paid
in advance prior to the shipment date and must be accompanied by the
dog's vaccination records as well as a signed contract. All
outstanding fees must be received, in full, before we ship your dog
back to you. If final payment is not received by the scheduled
shipping date, the dog will be boarded at a rate of $35/day until the
